Natural Quarry Stone for Caps

The stone is quarried leaving all four edges natural. The thickness is consistent and the edges show a slight variegation in light to medium ochre. The edges are a beautifully rounded profile caused by a natural process during the last Ice Age known as "freeze/thaw". A major benefit of using natural shapes and smooth surface caps is a professional finished look.

The quarry produces a few very large stones suitable for for special applications such as chimney caps and stair landings. The run-of-quarry material is available in sizes ranging from small blocky shapes to large slabs.

Consider the superior look and feel of natural stone. Our Buckskin flat stone can be hydraulically chopped to match almost any shaped pillar base. The color is a pleasing combination of light buckskin with edges showing a small variegation in light to medium ochre.
